Creativity - 'By Invitation Only'

This month's theme:

"Ways to / I find Creativity"

“Imagination is the beginning of creation.
You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine,
and at last, you create what you will”
 – George Bernard Shaw

I just simply need a little stroll through the garden, the fields, the wood....
and I'm inspired
which stimulates me to express a little creativity....

“Every child is an artist,
the problem is staying an artist when you grow up”
 Pablo Picasso

It would be pretentious to call myself an artist,
but I'm certainly inspired by mother nature....
the country side - the rural country life...
no matter the weather....

Anybody can plan weird; that’s easy.
What’s hard is to be as simple as Bach.

  2. We both share our love of nature and derive our creativity from the beautiful simple things. This is truly a beautiful post. Loved all the images.

  4. Wonderful, creative images. I think the conjunction of two dissimilar things - in this case highly crafted jewelry, and natural objects that have weathered in time - is one of the ways creativity can be well-sparked.

  10. Hi again Karin,
Just wanted to say that we have had blue skies and sunshine for a couple of days now and, at the end of the week, it's not going to be Spring temperatures, more like Summer ones !!!! What a topsy turvy world we live in, weather wise !! XXXX

  11. Karin, what a beautiful mind you have! I love everything about this post, everything. The wonderful quotations and seeing jewelry arranged in this way makes a grand statement. Of course, I remember the photos of the Splenderosa pieces you did! Those art deco bar pins are simply to D.I.E. for. Once again, a post to enchant all of us. Thank you so so much. xx's
